Accessibility

Accessible routes, staterooms and dining, but no personal care assistance

Carnival does not provide one-on-one personal care. Every guest must manage their own eating, dressing, toileting and bathing, or travel with someone who can help.

Elevators have tactile controls within reach of wheelchair users and audible signals for guests who are blind or have low vision.

Accessible routes run through most areas of the ship. Signs in the elevator lobbies point to them.

Drink packages

Packages sold, and drinks can also be bought one at a time

Sample onboard prices: beer from $6.50 (mostly 16 oz), wine by the glass from $9.50, mixed drinks $7.50–$20.00, specialty cocktails from $10.50, soft drinks $2.75, specialty coffees $2.50–$4.25.

Prices and availability can change without notice.

Tax is added at US ports. Carnival gives the example of a $2 drink with 10% tax charged to your Sail & Sign card.

Minimum age

Infants must be at least 6 months old on most itineraries

12 months on transatlantic, transpacific, Hawaii and some South American voyages.

Carnival's contract does not set the sailing minimum; this comes from its published age policy.

Loyalty program

Carnival Rewards — points and Status Qualifying Stars

You gain 3 stars for every $1 of eligible spend with Carnival. Stars decide your status level.

You earn 3 points for every $1 of eligible spend. Points are spent on drinks, spa days and other onboard extras.

Points do not expire as long as you have eligible activity every three years.
